Financial Aid Resources (FAiR)

The association acknowledges there are many inequities in the modern world and we do not wish financial constraints to be a barrier to joining us or participating in our conferences. Our Financial Aid Resources (FAiR) fund aims to make the organisation more accessible to colleagues who do not have the economic resources to join.

Members are welcome to apply to our FAiR fund and also donate to it. We very much rely on and welcome contributions from members in order to continue our FAiR approach. Our Financial Aid Resources cover:

FAiR for Individuals

This fund offers a discounted individual membership to colleagues from disadvantaged communities around the world, for up to 2 years. Membership includes a subscription to the PCEP journal, access to the Encounter Newsletter, a discount on the PCE conference fee, the right to stand for the board and the right to vote in the Board election and the General Assembly of the WAPCEPC.

FAiR for Organizations

This fund offers a contribution towards the organizational membership fee for organizations from disadvantaged communities around the world. This support is available for up to two years.

FAiR for Conference Attendance

This fund exists to provide financial assistance to WAPCEPC members from disadvantaged communities around the world who wish to attend the association’s biennial international PCE conference. Funding is typically available to cover 50% of the basic conference registration fee, and is not available for travel or accommodation costs.

Member grants for research & translation

WAPCEPC grants aim to encourage professional development and research in the Person Centred and Experiential (PCE) community. Our grants offer some financial assistance to any researcher, novice researcher or translator, who is an individual member of WAPCEPC, for the development of scholarship in the PCE approach.

WAPCEPC General Research Grant

For individual WAPCEPC members whose research projects are aimed at the investigation of the Person-Centered / Experiential (PCE) approach to stimulate worldwide research activities related to the PCE field. The maximum grant that will be awarded is €2,100.

WAPCEPC Student Research Grant

For individual WAPCEPC student members whose research projects are aimed at the investigation of the Person-Centered / Experiential (PCE) approach. The main purpose of the Grant is to stimulate and support students’ research activities related to the PCE field. The maximum grant that will be awarded is €1,500.

WAPCEPC Translation Grant

For individual WAPCEPC members who seek an opportunity to translate their writing into English in order to publish them in the Association's Journal (PCEP). The maximum grant that will be awarded is €3,000.
